Our Story

Designs by DaVal began in 2003 as a small artisan jewelry business founded by a dedicated mother-and-son team in Michigan. What started as a creative passion soon evolved into a purpose-driven company, inspired by compassion, craftsmanship, and community.

As a Respiratory Therapist, our founder cared for thousands of CPAP patients — an experience that led her to design innovative comfort products like Snuggle Skins insulating tube covers and Snuggle Skins Cheeks strap covers. These thoughtful solutions were born from a desire to make medical therapy more comfortable and personal.

After years of balancing healthcare and entrepreneurship, she retired from the medical field to fully grow Designs by DaVal. Today, her son has returned to the business, bringing a fresh vision and e-commerce expertise to help the company thrive in the digital marketplace.
